Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator from Cuba and America for Caso Cerrado, is the host of Ana Polo Rules. Ana Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami in the year two. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. She is currently hosting the Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", an Spanish TV show that was nominated by the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015, she was ranked as the most popular Spanish-language show on 4pm for key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. Following her graduation from Florida International University's political science program, she moved to Havana where she stayed for the next 20 years. In the following years she was awarded her PhD degree in law at the University of Miami. She received the PhD from The University of Miami, and later practiced law for 20 years in Miami. Polo appeared for the first time on the screen in 2001 when she was part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal expertise was also employed to produce other court programs. Literary Works and Accolades In 1958 she published the book Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) in which she was awarded the Critic's Award and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in 1960. Polo was the breast cancer survivor frequently raises money for this cause and speaks at events. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights throughout her career. She earned her law degree in 1987 from the University of Miami School of Law.
